Panel Size Range

SKATE's sliding lift door system accommodates individual panel widths from 900 mm to 3,200 mm and heights from 2,100 mm to 3,200 mm, with individual panel weights up to 400 kg for motorised configurations. This allows true floor-to-ceiling glazing across very wide openings, creating the expansive, minimally-framed glass wall that is the signature aesthetic of premium contemporary residential architecture.

Motorised Operation

For panels exceeding 150 kg, or for applications requiring remote or automated operation, SKATE integrates concealed electric drive motors into the sliding lift door system. Integration with home automation platforms, smart locks, and security systems is standard. Soft-start/stop, obstruction detection, and emergency manual override are all included.

Thermal Performance

The PA66 GF25 thermal break within every SKATE sliding lift door profile, combined with Low-E argon-filled glazing, delivers whole-system U-values appropriate for high-performance residential specifications. For passive house applications, triple Low-E + Argon glazing configurations provide Ug values of 0.8 W/m²K or below, achieving the glazing thermal requirement within a sliding door system — previously considered impossible in large-format sliding doors.
